City of Kalamazoo
Crosstown Center

Kalamazoo, Michigan

In 2002/2003 the City of Kalamazoo completely renovated a 108,000 s.f., 2-story building into a consolidated Crosstown Justice Center. The building was built in 1955 and had been most recently been used as a medical office building prior to the project. The new facility houses the City of Kalamazoo Public Safety Department, Kalamazoo County Courts, 911 Dispatch Center, and Crime Lab. Engineering Plus, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for the entire project from feasibility studies and cost estimates to the final design.
